Deepika Padukone in Vijay's Maalai Neram Mazhaithuli?

By now we all know that director A.R. Murugadoss will soon team up with Ilayathalapathy Vijay for a big budget venture. Vijay is currently busy with Shankar's Nanban while Murugadoss is busy with the post production work of Suriya-Shruti Haasan starrer 7Aum Arivu. This project, reportedly titled Maalai Neram Mazhaithuli, is expected to go on floors after the completion of Nanban and 7Aum Arivu.

The latest buzz is that the director is trying to finalize Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone as the female lead. According to sources, Deepika has shown interest in being a part of the project. Vijay's father S.A. Chandrasekhar is likely to produce this film. Nirav Shah will handle the camera while Harris Jayaraj is likely to be the music director.
