Veppam which has been continuously postponed is going to see the light of the day during the next weekend. Anjana the former associate of Gautham Menon has directed this film. The director confessed that it was Gautham Menon her mentor who came forward to produce the film when she was looking for a producer.
Veppam sees Nani and Nithya Menon in the lead roles while Evam Karthik Kumar plays and Tollywood actress Bindu Madhavi played important roles in the film.
Director Anjana said "The film revolves around five different people which include a student (Naani), a staff of a Xerox shop (Nithya Menon), a mechanic (Karthik Kumar), a commercial sex worker (Bindu Madhavi) and an artist who works for an ad company (Muthukumar)".
Veppam is said to be an action thriller and Anjana says "Life is all about twists and turns and Veppam carries one such story".
The Telugu version is titled as Sega and will release simultaneously on the same day, July 29th.
