Actress Katrina Kaif who turned 28 last Saturday wishes to find the love of her life this year. Katrina says that turning 28 can be traumatic if there is no love in one's life. "It could be, if there's no love in your life. The best birthday gift I can hope for? To find love this year, and for my films to do well," says Katrina.
Talking to Bollywood Hungama Katrina expressed her disappointment on the reports of her meeting RanbirKapoor at a multiplex on the eve of her birthday. "I read that Ranbir was in the same multiplex where I was promoting my film. I had no clue about this. And I certainly didn't meet him."
On her birthday Katrina wishes for a terror free Mumbai. "also to keep Mumbai free of attacks. We can't ever begin to feel normal and do normal things like celebrate birthdays or even go out with friends if we have the fear of violence hanging on our heads all the time."
Katrina was promoting her new film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara on Friday until midnight when the cast and crew decided to celebrate her birthday. Katrina refused to celebrate explaining that it is not the time for celebrations. However, the actress did attend Shahrukh Khan's party for the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara team, at Mannat, as it was for the films team.
Katrina would have celebrated her first birthday after her 2008 birthday incident which marked as a fallout of Bollywood titans Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. The actress after the happenings swore off all birthday parties, till this year when she mustered enough courage to plan one for her friends. However, because of the ghastly tragedy that struck Mumbai, Katrina refused to celebrate.
Says Katrina, "Nope. No celebrations for me. I guess it's not meant to be. No party for my birthdays. I was with my Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara team on Friday night. We did nothing to bring in my birthday. My friends Arjun Kapoor, Kabir Khan etc. had a quiet dinner at a Chinese restaurant. In any case, I don't believe in bringing in birthdays. My birthday was on Saturday. I spent it quietly with my mother. And I did not meet Ranbir or Salman on Friday night."
