According to latest reports, the shooting of superstar Rajinikanth's much awaitedRana, which was postponed due to his health condition, will resume in October. Rajinikanth returned home on Wednesday after spending nearly seven weeks in Singapore for treatment of kidney-related ailments.
The Enthiran star arrived in his trademark style, waving to his fans gathered at the airport. Festoons, banners and posters had been put up by the fans along the roads leading to the airport.
The 61-year-old actor left for Singapore on May 27 and was admitted to Mount Elizabeth Hospital the next day. Rajinikanth was discharged from the hospital last month, but he continued to remain in the island nation for periodic check-ups and to get sufficient rest.
