Gorgeous Tapasee, who was reportedly starring in Tanu Weds Manu Telugu version, has denied the reports that she is acting in the film. The actress has said that the speculations are not true and she has not signed the film.
The glamdoll admits that she was approached to play the female lead role of Tanuja, which was played by Kangana Ranaut in the original. Tapasee further adds that her commitment with other projects made her to drop the film.
Earlier, it was reported that Tapasee would be seen in a de-glamorous avatar, as she was roped in for the Telugu version of Tanu Weds Manu. It also claimed that the 23-year-old would be pairing up Sunil in the remake film, which is directed by Devi Prasad of Blade Babji fame.
