Singer SP Balasubrahmanyam appeared as a guest on the talk show Prematho Mee Lakshmi, which is hosted by Lakshmi Manchu. The actress-turned-host in her usual ways took back the legendary singer to his old memories and made him get candid on the show.
When he was asked to choose better actor between Chiranjeevi and Kamal Hassan, SPB said that he likes latter, as he has done variety of roles. In his opinion, the Megastar always preferred doing commercial cinema.
Recalling a conversion with Chiranjeevi, S P Balasubrahmanyam said that he once asked Chiru to do different kind of movies rather than sticking to mass movies. The actor reminded him of hisApadbhandavudu and Rudraveena, which failed at the Box Office. But the singer replied him to recall the fate of Mrugaraju, which also proved a dud at BO.
